LEGAL & DATA

Privacy Policy

Effective 20 August 2026

Plain-language summaryWe use the minimum information needed to provide your account and Draft tools. We do not ask for your FPL password, cannot access your FPL email, and cannot make changes to your official FPL account.

1. Who operates this service

Easy Draft is an independently operated, unofficial application (“we”, “us”, or the “Service”). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. For privacy questions or requests, contact the operator through the project contact page.

2. Information we process

  • Account information: information used by Clerk to authenticate you, such as name, email address, profile image, account identifiers and sign-in security information.
  • Selected Draft data: public league and Entry IDs, league and team names, and which connected league is active.
  • Public FPL Draft data: public squads, managers, fixtures, results, points, draft choices, transactions, player statistics, injuries and similar data made available by FPL endpoints.
  • Device and service information: hosting and authentication providers may process IP address, browser, device, security, diagnostic and access-log information.
  • Local browser data: active IDs, temporary league analysis, fixture-change snapshots and draft-board selections may be stored in local or session storage on your device.

We do not request or intentionally collect your FPL password, FPL session cookie, payment information or FPL-associated email address.

3. Team selection and ownership

An FPL Draft Entry ID identifies public Draft data; it is not an authentication secret. Selecting or connecting an Entry ID does not prove that you own or manage that official FPL team. The Service is read-only and does not submit lineups, waivers, trades or other changes to FPL. Do not use the Service to misrepresent your identity or harass another person.

4. Why we use information

We process information to authenticate users; save and switch selected leagues; display squads, schedules and live points; produce projections, waiver suggestions and aggregate analytics; secure and troubleshoot the Service; and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the context, the legal basis may be performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, consent where requested, or compliance with law.

5. Sources and sharing

Selected Draft data comes from you and publicly accessible FPL Draft endpoints. We use service providers including Clerk for authentication, Vercel for hosting, and Neon/PostgreSQL infrastructure for aggregate Draft datasets. Calendar downloads and subscriptions contain only FPL deadline information and do not share your account email address. Providers may process data outside your country under applicable safeguards and agreements. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

Account-linked league selections are retained while your account remains active or until you remove them. Browser storage remains until it expires or you clear it. Public league analytics may be retained as historical and aggregate statistical records. Operational logs are retained according to provider settings and legitimate security needs. We aim to remove or anonymise personal data when no longer reasonably needed.

7. Security and limitations

We use authentication, access controls and managed infrastructure intended to protect information. No internet service is completely secure. Entry and league IDs, team names, manager names and Draft results may already be publicly accessible through FPL and should not be treated as secrets.

8. Your choices and rights

You can remove a connected league, log out and clear browser storage through your browser. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us using the project contact page. Authentication-account requests may also require action through Clerk.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children below the minimum age at which they may consent to online services in their country. If you believe a child supplied personal information improperly, contact us.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the Service or its data practices change. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
