AUTOSUB GUIDE
Understand your FPL Draft autosubs before the final totals.
A bench player can change the result of your matchup. Easy Draft applies FPL automatic-substitution rules to show a provisional picture before the official game processes autosubs at the end of the Gameweek.

Bench order and formation matter
For outfield replacements, the priority you set on your bench matters, and a replacement must preserve a valid formation. A substitute is not chosen simply because they scored the most points.
If you started with three defenders and one needs replacing, bringing on a midfielder would leave only two defenders. An eligible defender is needed instead. Goalkeepers have their own replacement slot.
A worked matchup example
Suppose your starting XI has 42 points and one midfielder does not participate in the Gameweek. Your first eligible outfield substitute has 6 points, and replacing that midfielder keeps the formation valid. The total including that autosub is 48 points.
This is an illustrative example, not a live result. If your opponent has 46 points, the adjustment changes the displayed matchup from 42–46 to 48–46. Remaining fixtures and corrections can still change the contest.
Why early totals remain provisional
Official FPL Draft processes automatic substitutions after the Gameweek’s matches. Easy Draft gives you an earlier view using the available participation and scoring data.
A player with another fixture still to play may yet appear. In a Double Gameweek, missing the first match does not establish that a starter will miss the entire Gameweek. Recheck totals as fixtures finish. The official rules also define what counts as participation; a blank score alone does not establish eligibility for replacement.
Autosub calculations do not edit your squad
Easy Draft changes how the provisional total is displayed. It does not make substitutions or submit a team change to FPL.
Set your starting XI, bench priority, transfers and waiver claims in the official FPL app. Follow the applicable official deadlines.

Common questions
Does the highest-scoring bench player come on?
No. Eligibility, your bench priority and formation rules determine automatic substitutions.
Are these predicted points?
No. They are provisional totals using recorded points and automatic-substitution calculations, not forecasts of future player performance.
Which result should I use as final?
Use the final official FPL result. Easy Draft’s early view helps you follow the matchup while processing and corrections are still in progress.
